Dark Kiss

Image
The dark kiss cocktail is inspired by this Bath and Body Works fragrance : About the fragrance I first purchased this fragrance as a shower gel in 2020. I ordered it online based on a review that said it was similar to Pink Chiffon, which I liked. It is currently available online as a body lotion, body cream, and fragrance mist. The scent notes listed for this fragrance are: Black raspberry Burgundy rose Bergamot incense Dark vanilla bean Plum musk Designing the cocktail I used black raspberry flavored Sparkling Ice sparkling water as the mixer. Any raspberry flavored soda or sparkling water would work. I used the same rose petals I used for my Winter Candy Apple cocktail. The bergamot note was trickier to capture at first. Since bergamot is largely associated with Earl Grey tea, I decided to make a small recipe of Earl Grey iced tea concentrate by boiling 1/2 cup water, steeping one Earl Grey tea bag for 10 minutes, adding 1/4 cup sugar, and boiling again until the sugar dissolved.

It is currently available online as a body lotion, bubble bath, body cream, fragrance mist, shea butter cleansing bar, shimmer mist, hand sanitizer, hand sanitizer spray, and wallflower fragrance plugin, as well as two gift sets. It has inspired two additional fragrances, A Thousand Wishes For You (currently available online as a body lotion, body cream, and fragrance mist) and A Thousand Christmas Wishes (currently unavailable online). The scent notes listed for this fragrance are: Pink prosecco Sparkling quince Crystal peonies Gilded amber Amaretto creme Designing the cocktail I purchased a bottle of Cupcake prosecco rosé for the first note. Since sparkling

Winter Candy Apple

The winter candy apple cocktail is inspired by this Bath and Body Works fragrance: About the fragrance I first purchased the body cream pictured in 2021. I ordered it online based on a review that said it was similar to Winterberry Wonder, which I liked. The scent is currently unavailable online, but it will hopefully be back next holiday season. There is a Winter Candy Apple candle in stock currently, but the fragrance notes are different than they are in the body cream so I didn't provide a link. The scent notes listed for this fragrance are: Candy red apple Winter rose petals Candied orange Maple leaf Fresh cinnamon Designing the cocktail I used an Octorock hard apple cider from Starcut Ciders as the mixer since I already had it on hand. Any hard apple cider would work, and if you prefer your cocktails less sweet you could try a dry cider. Octorock is ranked as semi-sweet on the Starcut Ciders sweetness scale. I used rose petals (they're edible) from Mountain Rose Herbs .
